I am sorry that I have not posted in a while. I have however, gone through some changes. Here is what has happened.
First, I have changed my major. I am no longer going down the Political Science route. I am currently undecided as to what I want to do with my life. It no longer will involve politics, or being a political analyst. In fact, I could probably be considered slightly apathetic, since real change does not look likely. Oh, I dropped my POLS class as well.
Since I have been gone, I also went to see Children of Bodom in St. Louis last Sunday. I'm not really much for them, but they do put on a good live show. Also, I met a guy who wants to get into metal journalism. This has given me some sort of inspiration.
With the passing of September, I have found that I also need to improve my grades. October, on the other hand, has had something good happen to me in each day so far. I have managed to get back some of my music that I have downloaded. Also, I have managed to improve my music collection somewhat. I am still nowhere where I want to be, but I will make it.
So, with all this in mind. Midterms are next week, and I found that I enjoyed the movie Sleepy Hollow. I am done, so that means GTFO!!!

8/29/08: Historic days
Yesterday, Obama accepted his nomination with a speech. He focused on MLK, because 45 years ago yesterday, MLK gave his famous "I Have a Dream" speech. McCain is also supposed to name his pick for VP today as well, as today is his 72nd birthday.
Also, today is the 3rd anniversary for the landfall of Katrina, and now N.O. is about to get raped again by a hurricane, this time the name is Gustav. Speaking of which, I hope you bought your gas recently, because Gustav is going to hit the gulf coast, and we all know what that means.
Also, according to democracynow.org (and The Hill), Obama staffers censored a line in a fiery Kucinich speech. The line read, "They're asking for another four years-in a just world, they'd get ten to twenty." Also, Asa Eslocker, a producer for ABC News, was arrested yesterday for 'tresspassing', while he was trying to take pictures for a series on the role of corporate lobbyists. Both stories are just simply utter rubbish. This just goes to show that no matter whether their is a D or an R beside the candidate, there will not be any change or evolution in this country without a revolution. We need to start supporting third party candidates, such as Ralph Nader and Ron Paul (though Paul ran Republican this year).

8/27/08: Settling down now
Well today, I think I am beginning to settle into some kind of routine. I also took care of some business today, like getting a paper done, and buying food (now we have a refrigerator). I won't say much, other than today wasn't that bad of a day. I have to go now though, good night.

8/26/08: Today was slightly better
Today was slightly better than yesterday. I *think* I finally got all of my books today, and I didn't lose anything today either. Other than that, not much else happened today, except for the fact I got my P.O. Box, and well, that's about it.

8/25/08: Roller coaster
Today did not start off good for me. First, I found out that didn't have my ol' reliable pencil sharpener. Then, I found out my pos green one didn't work. Then later at the bookstore, I misplaced my water and suddenly my day sunk to a new low. However, I didn't realize this fact until I was in Dunn Hall, all the way across campus. Then I thought I lost my calculator after math class.
But, I got out of math class 20 minutes early. I raced back to the bookstore, and amazingly, my bottle was still there. So my day didn't totally suck. Now I just need a fucking refrigerator and my pencil sharpener, and maybe I will be set (to a point).
Politically, I don't say I support Obama's choice for VP. Biden is from Delaware. DE is also the location of HQ's/major operations for many banks and credit card companies because of their low taxes. Biden also voted for the 2005 bankruptcy bill that helped put us out of our house in Milan when we were going through tough times. He also helped to start the modern drug war when he voted in favor of the Anti-Drug Act of 1986. This is not cool, as the bankruptcy bill was simply a cash in for the financial institutions, and the drug war has only created more drugs, and fucked up innocent people's lives. You probably know where I stand on these things, so I am done now.

8/25/08: First day
Well, today is my first day of class. I need to find me a work study job. I also need to join some clubs as well, but that's beside the point. I spent nearly $100 at Spin Street yesterday, on a poster, shirt, and three CD's. I don't think I will be going back for a while (hopefully at least until 9/30, when the new Amon Amarth album is released).
I think I might be running out of food soon, so the refrigerator that my roommate's family got better come in soon. I didn't start out on the right foot this morning because my clean pair of socks fell into the toilet. I am done for right now, I have to get to class.

8/24/08: Life
Well, yesterday I had some fun with my friends here on campus. I think I found Stephen (and his band) a guitarist by the name of Andrew. I gotta say, he could be going places.
I don't have too much to say today, other than that well, I start classes tomorrow. Oh yeah, I think I now like the band Cellador. Also, I got a decent enough bargain (Exodus- Fabulous Disaster) for about $7 at spin street yesterday.
